Prof Office was founded in 1995 based on experience in the furniture industry, rooted in a family industrial environment that designs elegant office furniture systems, deeply embedded in the northeastern Italian furniture district. Over these twenty years, the company's economic growth and development path have enabled it to look towards the international market, contributing to the dissemination of Italian design and the highest quality worldwide. By consulting architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product range.
Starting from stylish execution collections, it then developed operational systems, reception solutions, and conference rooms, up to partition walls. Today, this allows offering holistic and customized furnishing solutions for every workspace.

HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of Prof, along with the plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the Treviso province, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of Europe's most important furniture industrial districts. It covers a total area of approximately 8,700 sqm, of which 3,600 sqm are covered. The manufacturing plant, specialized in producing office furniture, is equipped for woodwork, assembly, packaging, warehousing, and shipping of finished products. The main headquarters houses executive, commercial, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for client meetings, and an exhibition showroom of over 400 sqm, showcasing all collections of prestigious office furniture. In 2017, an expansion of over 1,800 sqm was completed, with 640 sqm dedicated to production, 330 sqm to new offices, and 830 sqm to a new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The brand manufactures exclusively at the Falzè di Piave plant in Treviso province and always bases its identity on the utmost respect for people, the land, and materials. Strong local roots and innate "know-how," which has evolved also thanks to new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and solidify its success by continuously blending tradition and innovation, adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof's production organization is "just in time," enabling reliability, inventory reduction, and increased quality and customer service. The entire Prof network operates mainly within Italy, primarily in the local production district where most raw material and semi-finished component suppliers are located. All products are fully designed and made in Italy to ensure a standard of consistent excellence.

DESIGN

At Prof's factory, every element of the furnishings results from an understanding of the changing dynamics of workplaces. Research has always been a strategic element of the company's development policy, expressed through an internal Design Department working closely with external designers and continuously updated with technological and legislative developments. Prof models are entirely designed and produced in Italy, fully compliant with European safety and hygiene standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

DESIGN CONSULTING
Prof provides comprehensive design and consulting services, including analysis of client requirements, layout studies with targeted and personalized furnishing proposals, along with technical drawings and rendering.

CUSTOMIZATION

Prof can propose and execute personalized services on standard production models: from the manufacturing of oversized components, through exploring new materials and finishes, to producing samples and prototypes. Thanks to its versatile production capabilities, Professor has developed specialized knowledge in non-standard consumable materials, handling projects ranging from small and medium-sized to exceptional personalized creations.

POST-WARRANTY SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-conforming products and claims, Professor maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical and after-sales support services along with comprehensive information, modifications, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

Professor’s extensive production flexibility allows, in addition to series production, the realization of custom-defined projects tailored to specific client needs. The Design Department can support clients or designers in developing and producing unique products, both functional and aesthetic, with fully personalized finishes.
Careful advice at every stage: targeted design, meticulous material selection, and attention to detail, culminating in the construction process step-by-step until final installation.
The entire production is fully adapted to individual requirements.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to increasing international market competition by improving customer satisfaction and loyalty, and streamlining internal production processes, Professor obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Adopting a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, enabling more concrete business goals. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to ecological issues, Prof emphasizes maximum experience in designing and producing office furniture with respect for the environment. From carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 boards in accordance with European regulations on formaldehyde emissions, both for raw materials and laminates.
Each panel is then marked by the Ecological Panel Consortium, ensuring that semi-finished products are produced through wood reuse in the manufacturing process, which does not involve tree felling.

Achieving the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Professor’s concrete commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, regulating the impact of production activities on the environment, and striving for continuous improvement. In 2015, during the same period as the company's twenty-year anniversary, Prof introduced a new green logo to confirm and identify its commitment to sustainable environmental development as an integral part of its operations and growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its “eco-friendly” strategy, emphasizing its values of “sustainability” and “responsibility,” and switched to a new electricity provider (Dolomiti Energia) sourcing 100% from renewable sources.

ECO-PACKAGING

Prof continues its commitment to a production system capable of minimizing environmental impact. In 2016, Prof invested in a modern packaging machinery park using biodegradable cardboard, enabling customized packaging training. Optimization tailored to specific products allows significant reductions in packaging costs, storage, and waste disposal. To improve waste management, several separate collection points for post-production waste were established, with all waste stored in special containers and subsequently recycled.

CERTIFICATIONS

Demonstrating a commitment to quality, Prof obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 certification and adheres to international standards in design, development, production, and customer service.
