King Louis XIV died in 1715, leaving behind a vast, modernized state with centralized, absolutist royal power.
How this product was made
The entire table was crafted using the lost wax casting method (cire perdue), known since ancient times. This technique involves creating a wax prototype, which is then coated with a specially prepared plaster. The interior is filled with liquid metal (in this case, genuine bronze), replacing the original wax form.
