Description
Part of the exciting and luxurious Flame Tree notebook series. Combining high-quality production with stunning artwork, the covers are printed on foil in five colours, embossed, and then foil-embossed again. They are incredibly practical: a rear pocket for receipts and scraps, two bookmarks, and a sturdy magnetic side flap. Perfect for personal use and an impressive gift. This example features Ashmolean: Cranes, Cycads and Wisteria by Nishimura So-zaemon XII.
Ashmolean is the Museum of Art and Archaeology at the University of Oxford, founded in 1683. This beautiful pendant was donated to the Ashmolean Museum in 1958 by Sir Herbert Ingram, who traveled to Japan during his honeymoon in 1908. In Japanese culture, the crane represents good fortune and longevity and is known as the “bird of happiness” – an appropriate theme for newlyweds.
Amazing titles and a very wide range of authors reflect Flame Tree Publishing's portfolio.
