Amedeo's creativity is special and original, just like the Genio Creativo collection I am pleased to invite you to. Inspired by the painting of this Italian artist, we believe that writing is an art. Genio Creativo is a collection of limited edition writing instruments dedicated to the genius who, through his creativity and passion, created a masterpiece, and whose perfection has become a source of further inspiration. Montegrappa dedicates Tributo ad Amadeo Modigliani to the artist who broke the rules of traditional portraiture. The limited edition reflects features of his style.
We would like to present to you a sleek design that pays homage to the pursuit of plasticity in life; the body and cap are oval, reminiscent of faces in portraits, the clip is long and uneven like their noses, and the ring of the cap has a characteristic irregular shape of the lips he painted. A distinctive feature of Modigliani—strong and vibrant brushstrokes, visible in all his paintings—is recreated using precious resin from which these pens are made. The pen color matches that of several of his works: a deep blue, like Parisian nights. The top of the cap features and combines the Montegrappa logo with a single stone—symbol of the uniqueness of genius, which in the platinum version is a topaz
