Montegrappa, a symbol of Italian style, unique design, and creativity, pays tribute in its latest edition to outstanding individuals, geniuses recorded in human history.Amedeo's creativity is special and original, just like the Genio Creativo collection, which I have the pleasure to invite you to explore. Inspired by the painting of this Italian artist, we believe that writing is an art form. Genio Creativo is a collection of limited edition writing instruments dedicated to the genius who, through their creativity and passion, created a masterpiece, and whose excellence in turn became a source of further inspiration. Montegrappa dedicates Tributo ad Amadeo Modigliani to the artist who broke the rules of traditional portraiture. The limited edition reflects features of his style.
We wish to present to you a sleek design that pays homage to a life dedicated to exploring plasticity; the body and cap are oval, reminiscent of faces in portraits, the clip is long and uneven like their noses, and the ring of the cap has a characteristic irregular shape of the lips he painted. A distinctive feature of Modigliani—strong and vibrant brushstrokes, visible in all his paintings—is recreated using precious resin from which these pens are made. The pen color matches that of several of his works: a deep blue, like Parisian nights. The top of the cap features and connects to the Montegrappa logo with a single stone—symbol of the uniqueness of genius, which in the platinum version is atopaz
