Inspired by the painting of this Italian artist, we believe that writing is an art form. Genio Creativo is a collection of limited edition writing instruments dedicated to the genius who, through their creativity and passion, created a masterpiece, and whose excellence has become a source of further inspiration. Montegrappa dedicates Tributo ad Amadeo Modigliani to the artist who broke the rules of traditional portraiture. The limited edition features elements characteristic of his style.
We are pleased to present a sleek design that pays homage to the pursuit of artistic expression, with the body and cap shaped ovally like faces in portraits. The clip is long and uneven, resembling their noses, and the ring of the cap has a distinctive irregular shape like the lips he painted. A characteristic feature of Modigliani—bold and vibrant brushstrokes visible in all his paintings—is recreated using precious resin from which these pens are made. The pen color matches several of his works: a deep blue, reminiscent of Parisian nights. The top of the cap features and combines the Montegrappa logo with a single stone—symbol of the uniqueness of genius, which in the platinum version is atopaz
