The son of Aeolus, he betrayed the father of the gods, Zeus, regarding his relationship with the nymph Aegina, and later, after his death, he even decided to deceive the god of the underworld, Hades. For his courage, Zeus himself decided to punish him with immortal torture: pushing a huge boulder to the top of a mountain and then watching it roll back to the base for all eternity. |
