Prof Office was born in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, a family industrial background deeply rooted in the Italian northeastern furniture district. It designs elegant office furniture systems, rooted in the Italian design tradition. Over the past twenty years, the company's growth and development have allowed it to expand into international markets, promoting Italian design and top quality worldwide. With input from architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and broadened its product range.
Starting from stylish executive collections, it has developed operational systems, reception solutions, conference rooms, and partition walls. Today, this enables offering holistic and customized furnishing solutions for any workspace.

HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of Prof, along with its plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the Treviso province, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of Europe's most important furniture industrial districts. The total area is approximately 8,700 sqm, of which 3,600 sqm are covered. The manufacturing plant, specialized in office furniture, is equipped for woodwork, assembly, packaging, warehousing, and logistics of finished products. The main headquarters houses executive, sales, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for client meetings, and an exhibition showroom of over 400 sqm, showcasing all collections of {luxury|luxurious|prestigious} office furniture. In 2017, an expansion added over 1,800 sqm, including 640 sqm for production, 330 sqm for new offices, and 830 sqm for a new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The brand manufactures exclusively at the Falzè di Piave facility in Treviso province, always based on core values of respect for people, the land, and materials. Strong local roots and innate "know-how," evolved through new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and solidify its success by continuously blending tradition with innovation, adapting to socio-economic changes. Prof's production organization is "just in time," ensuring reliability, inventory reduction, and increased quality and customer service. The entire Prof network operates mainly within Italy, in the local manufacturing district, where most raw material and component suppliers are located. All products are designed and made entirely in Italy to guarantee a standard of consistent excellence.

DESIGN

At Prof's factory, every piece of furniture reflects an understanding of the changing dynamics of workplaces. Research has always been a strategic element of the company's development policy, expressed through an internal Design Department working closely with external designers and continuously updating with technological and legislative developments. Prof models are entirely designed and produced in Italy, fully compliant with European safety and hygiene standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

Prof offers comprehensive design and consulting services, including analysis of client requirements, layout studies with targeted and personalized furnishing proposals, technical drawings, and rendering.

CUSTOMIZATION

The professor can propose and carry out personalized services on standard production models: from manufacturing oversized components, through sourcing new materials and finishes, to creating samples and prototypes. Thanks to their versatile production capabilities, the Professor has developed specialized knowledge in non-standard consumable materials, handling projects ranging from small and medium-sized to highly personalized creations.

POST-SALE SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-conforming products and complaints, the Professor maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical support and after-sales services, including full information, modifications, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

The broad production flexibility of Prof allows, in addition to serial production, the realization of custom-designed projects tailored to specific client needs. The Design Department can support clients or designers in developing and producing unique products, both functional and aesthetic, with completely individual finishes.
Careful advice at every stage: a targeted design, with meticulous material selection and attention to detail, culminating in the construction, step by step, until the final installation.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to increasing international market competitiveness through improving customer satisfaction and loyalty, and streamlining internal production processes, the Professor obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Adopting a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, enabling more concrete business goals. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to ecological issues, Prof focuses on maximum experience in designing and manufacturing office furniture with respect for the environment. Starting from carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 panels in accordance with European regulations on formaldehyde emissions, both for raw materials and laminates.
Each panel is then marked by the Ecological Panel Consortium, ensuring that semi-finished products are produced through the reuse of wood in the manufacturing process, which does not involve tree felling.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Prof’s specific commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, regulating the impact of production activities on the environment and striving for continuous improvement. In 2015, during the same period as the company's twenty-year anniversary, Prof introduced a new green mark to confirm and identify its commitment to sustainable environmental development as an integral part of its operations and growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its “eco-friendly” strategy, emphasizing its values of “sustainability” and “responsibility,” and switched to a new electricity provider (Dolomiti Energia) that sources 100% from renewable sources.

ECO PACKAGING

Prof continues its commitment to a production system capable of minimizing environmental impact. In 2016, Prof invested in a modern packaging machinery park using biodegradable cardboard, enabling tailored training in packaging. Optimization tailored to specific products allows for significant reductions in packaging costs, storage, and waste disposal. To improve waste management, several separate collection points for post-production waste were established. All waste is stored in special containers, which are then recycled.
