It all began in the 19th century with the production of traditional Scottish musical instruments, such as the bagpipes.
Founded in 1879, the company already had a solid reputation on the market and was known for producing precise and accurate musical instruments. Over time, changing consumer demands prompted a shift in the company's strategy. The main production focus shifted to traditional Scottish attire – belts, kilts, handbags. During that period, Dalvey mainly specialized in leather goods. It was then that the idea of the Dalvey brand was born – exclusive accessories for the business world.
