The phoenix is a mythical bird, regarded as a symbol of the Sun and eternal rebirth. The phoenix was said to be the size and appearance of an eagle with gold-red plumage.
It would arrive in Egypt from Arabia every 500 years, bringing in a vial of myrrh the remains of its predecessor, which it laid on the sun altar in Heliopolis. That is why the limited collection consists of 500 pens in various colors. Existing descriptions add that the bird lived in a distant, beautiful land where it drank water from the stream of life four times every morning and waved its wings to greet Febus (the Sun).These extraordinary feathers remind us that human history is written in dreams.
