Prof Office was born in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, a family-run industrial reality that designs elegant office furniture systems deeply rooted in the northeastern Italian furniture district. Over these twenty years, the company's economic development and growth path has allowed it to look at the international market, contributing to the spread of Italian design and the highest quality worldwide. By consulting with architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product range.
Starting from stylish execution collections, then developing operational systems, reception solutions, and conference rooms, up to partition walls. Today, this enables offering holistic and tailored furnishing solutions for every workplace.

HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of Prof, along with the plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the Treviso province, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of the most important industrial furniture districts in Europe. It covers a total area of approximately 8,700 sqm, of which 3,600 sqm are covered. The facility, specialized in manufacturing office furniture, is equipped for work in the wood department, assembly, packaging, warehousing, and shipping of finished products. The main headquarters houses executive, sales, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for client meetings, and an exhibition showroom of over 400 sqm, showcasing all collections of luxury office furniture. In 2017, an expansion of over 1,800 sqm was completed, with 640 sqm dedicated to production, 330 sqm for new offices, and 830 sqm for a new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The brand manufactures exclusively at the Falzè di Piave facility in Treviso province and always bases its identity on maximum respect for people, the land, and materials. Strong local roots and innate "know-how," which has evolved also thanks to new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and consolidate its success, continuing to combine tradition and innovation, adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof’s production organization is focused on "just in time," which combines reliability, inventory reduction, and improvements in quality and customer service. The entire Prof network operates mainly within Italy, in the local manufacturing district where the majority of raw material and semi-finished supplier companies are located. All products are fully designed and made in Italy to ensure a standard of constant excellence.

DESIGN

At Prof’s factory, every piece of furniture results from the ability to understand the changing dynamics of workplaces. Research has always been a strategic element of the company's development policy, expressed through an internal Design Department working closely with external designers and continuously updated with technological and legislative developments. Prof models are entirely designed and manufactured in Italy, fully compliant with European safety and health standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

Prof provides comprehensive design and consulting services, including analysis of client requirements, layout studies with targeted and personalized furnishing proposals, along with technical drawings and rendering.

POST-WARRANTY SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-conforming products and claims, the Professor maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical support and after-sales services along with comprehensive information, modifications, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

The Professor’s high production flexibility allows, in addition to serial manufacturing, the realization of custom-defined projects tailored to specific client needs. The Design Department can support clients or designers in developing and producing unique products, both functional and aesthetic, with fully personalized finishes.
Careful advice at every stage of implementation: targeted design, with meticulous material selection and attention to detail, culminating in the construction step-by-step, up to the final installation.
The production is entirely adapted to individual needs.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to increasing international market competitiveness through improved customer satisfaction and loyalty, and rationalization of internal production processes, the Professor obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Adopting a quality management system is a strategic decision for the Professor, enabling more concrete business goals. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to ecological issues, the Professor emphasizes maximum experience in designing and manufacturing office furniture with respect for the environment. Starting from carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and conserve energy.

As a result, the Professor uses certified E1 panels in accordance with European regulations on formaldehyde emissions for both raw materials and laminates.
Each panel is then marked by the Ecological Panel Consortium, ensuring that semi-finished products are produced through the reuse of wood in the manufacturing process, which does not involve tree felling.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms the Professor’s specific commitment to establishing their own environmental management system, regulating the impact of production activities on the environment, and striving for continuous improvement. In 2015, during the same period as the company's twenty-year anniversary, the Professor introduced a new green logo to confirm and identify their commitment to sustainable environmental development as an integral part of their operations and growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its “eco-friendly” strategy, emphasizing values of “sustainability” and “responsibility,” and switched to a new electricity provider (Dolomiti Energia) that sources 100% from renewable sources.

ECO PACKAGING

The Professor continues its commitment to a production system capable of minimizing environmental impact. In 2016, the Professor invested in a modern packaging machinery park using biodegradable cardboard, enabling tailored training in packaging. Optimization for specific products allows significant reductions in packaging costs, storage, and waste disposal. To improve waste management, several separate collection points for post-production waste were established, with all waste stored in special containers and subsequently recycled.

CERTIFICATIONS

Demonstrating a commitment to quality, the Professor obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 certification and adheres to international standards in design, development, production, and customer service.
