Elegant office conference table from Italy - Prof

Elegant and functional Slim Executive collection is gaining a new look thanks to new materials and noble finishes. The DESK features a 40 mm thick wooden construction available in melamine or matte lacquer finish, as well as a melamine top, touch-resistant lacquered glass, diamond effect, marble, Fenix NTM, and veneered wood. To meet the needs of flexible and modern workspaces, three versions are available: a simple configuration, one with a writing board of reduced depth, and a traditional writing surface. Complementary furniture includes dedicated service units that add functionality to the office. Rectangular and shaped CONFERENCE TABLES are available in various depths and can be combined with a central channeling leg. COFFEE TABLES come in four sizes, which can be combined individually or together, suitable for waiting areas, lounges, and home environments.

Prof Office was founded in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, a family-run industrial reality that produces prestigious office furniture systems, deeply rooted in the northeastern Italian furniture district. Over the past twenty years, Prof’s economic growth and development path has allowed it to look at the international market, contributing to the worldwide dissemination of Italian design and high quality. With the help of architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product range.
Starting with designer executive collections, it then developed operational systems, reception solutions, conference rooms, and partition walls. Today, this allows offering complete and customized furnishing solutions for every workspace.

HEADQUARTERS

The Prof headquarters, along with its plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the Treviso province, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of Europe’s most important furniture industrial districts. It covers a total area of approximately 8,700 sqm, of which 3,600 sqm are covered. The facility, specialized in manufacturing office furniture, is equipped for woodwork, assembly, packaging, warehousing, and shipping of finished products. The main headquarters houses executive, sales, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for client meetings, and an exhibition showroom of over 400 sqm, showcasing all collections of exclusive office furniture. In 2017, an expansion of over 1,800 sqm was completed, with 640 sqm dedicated to production, 330 sqm to new offices, and 830 sqm to a new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The manufacturing plant produces exclusively in Falzè di Piave in the Treviso province and always bases its identity on maximum respect for people, the land, and materials. Strong local roots and innate “know-how,” which has evolved also thanks to new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and consolidate its success, continuing to combine tradition and innovation while adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof’s production organization is focused on “just in time,” which ensures reliability, inventory reduction, and increased quality and customer service. The entire Prof network operates mainly in Italy within the local production district, where the majority of raw material and semi-finished product suppliers are located. All products are fully designed and manufactured in Italy to ensure a standard of consistent excellence.

DESIGN

At Prof, every element of equipment is based on an understanding of the changing dynamics of the workplace. Research has always been a strategic element of the company's development policy and is expressed through an internal Design Department working closely with external designers. It is continuously updated in line with technological and legislative evolution. Prof models are entirely designed and manufactured in Italy, fully compliant with European safety and occupational health standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

DESIGN CONSULTING
Prof provides comprehensive design and advisory services, including analysis of client requirements, layout studies with targeted and personalized equipment proposals, along with technical drawings and rendering.

PERSONALIZATION

Prof can offer and execute personalized services on standard production models: from manufacturing oversized components, sourcing new materials and finishes, to creating samples and prototypes. Thanks to its versatile production capabilities, Prof has developed specialized knowledge in non-standard consumable materials, handling projects from small and medium-sized to highly personalized creations.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-compliant products and claims, Prof maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical and after-sales support services, including full information, modifications, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

Prof's broad production flexibility allows, in addition to series manufacturing, the realization of custom-designed projects tailored to specific client needs. The Design Department can support clients or designers in developing and producing unique products, both functional and aesthetic, with fully customized finishes.
Careful advice at every stage: targeted design, with meticulous material selection and attention to detail, culminating in construction step-by-step, up to the final installation.
The production is entirely adapted to individual needs.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to increasing international market competition by improving customer satisfaction and loyalty, and streamlining internal production processes, Prof obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Adopting a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, enabling more concrete business goals. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to environmental issues, Prof focuses on maximum experience in designing and manufacturing office furniture with respect for the environment. From carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 boards in accordance with European regulations on formaldehyde emissions, both for raw materials and laminates.
Each panel is then marked by the Ecological Panel Consortium, ensuring that semi-finished products are produced through wood reuse in the manufacturing process, which does not involve tree felling.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Prof’s commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, regulating the impact of its production activities on the environment, and striving for continuous improvement. In 2015, during the company's twenty-year anniversary, Prof introduced a new green logo to confirm and identify its commitment to sustainable environmental development as an integral part of its operations and growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its “eco-friendly” strategy, emphasizing its values of “sustainability” and “responsibility,” and switched to a new energy provider (Dolomiti Energia) that sources 100% from renewable sources.

ECO PACKAGING

Prof continues his commitment to a production system capable of minimizing environmental impact. In 2016, Prof invested in a modern packaging machinery park made from biodegradable cardboard, allowing for individual training in packaging techniques. Optimization tailored to specific products enables significant reductions in packaging costs, storage, and consequently waste disposal. To improve waste management within the company, several separate collection points for post-production waste have been established. All waste is stored in special containers, which are then subjected to recycling processes.
