The oval has been a fundamental design by Carlo Moretti since the 1970s. Its large elegance and sophistication are embodied in a black version decorated with opaque square gold leaf accents. Carlo Moretti is a "designer factory" founded in 1958 by Carlo and Giovanni Moretti, combining innovation and continuous research. Carlo Moretti is a "factory of originals," one of the last remaining on Murano. Founded over fifty years ago, on October 30, 1958, by Carlo and Giovanni Moretti—two young brothers from Murano, from a family of glassmakers—the company was acquired in 2013 by a Venetian holding active in the glass market. The company's mission is to develop and strengthen its presence in international markets, while respecting the brand's identity in a contemporary context through a new strategy that includes continuity and ongoing innovation in management, products, and market approach, along with the implementation of the lighting contract sector.
