Description
Part of the exciting and luxurious Flame Tree notebook series. Combining high-quality production with stunning artwork, the covers are printed on foil in five colours, embossed, and then foil-pressed. They are incredibly practical: a rear pocket for receipts and scraps, two bookmarks, and a sturdy magnetic side flap. Perfect for personal use and an eye-catching gift. This example features the National Gallery: A Vase of Flowers by Paul Gauguin.
This painting was created in Tahiti after Paul Gauguin's last move from France. It was sold by his friend Daniel de Monfreid in 1898 to Edgar Degas, who was an early admirer of Gauguin's art. Flower paintings were common among artists of that period; Degas and Van Gogh are among the most prominent representatives of this genre.
Fascinating titles and a wide range of authors are synonymous with Flame Tree Publishing.
