History of Petri Firenze

Dynamic, exceptional collections, attention to detail, and the ability to produce both small and large quantities, respecting client needs and deadlines: these have always been the company's strengths. Founded in 1991, it initially specialized in cutlery and silver furniture accessories, thanks to the owners' experience gained in other Florentine companies in the industry. With this consolidated “know-how,” the company began producing for many leading global manufacturers in the silver decoration sector.

However, over time, public tastes and market needs changed, prompting Simone Petri to experiment with new approaches. Collections became more diverse and are now renewed twice a year, while maintaining a connection to traditional silver work, enriched with extraordinary objects and materials—from gemstones to quartz, from coral to shells, from animal horns to fossils. Petri is capable of managing the entire production cycle: from designing the object, even using the latest technology, to creating prototypes, and finally delivering a finished item with every detail perfected.

Thanks to the new collections, in addition to the Italian market, which was dominant in the early years, exports have been added, now representing the company’s “main activity,” with significant trading opportunities especially across Europe, the United States, and Arab countries. Its participation in major trade fairs such as Maison et Objet in Paris and Homi in Milan has also had a significant impact.
