The secrets and techniques of master glassmakers, combined with building collaborations with the most renowned Italian and international interior decorators over the years, have charted the success of many of their lines.

Company Philosophy and Image

Today, Yalos Murano is a well-known brand with a tradition-rich glass production; a proposal for furniture, style, and design for contemporary living, offering us glass and its many facets. Equipped with color and the most innovative lines, admiring changing and fleeting light reflections of a unique and unrepeatable object, and the ability to connect one's personality with the object are the most direct sensations of each of the proposed creations.

Nomads yet attached to their roots, Ferro, after the devastating plague of 1630 that decimated the local population, including glassmakers, returned to Murano and soon became among the local elite as Deputies of the island, occupying this prestigious position 27 times during the 18th century.

Belonging to the local productive and vibrant elite, the Ferro family was part of the Gastaldi Major school of San Nicolò, which gathers artisans and master glassmakers and manages the glassworks. Moreover, their coat of arms is engraved twice on the Osella, a coin minted by the Venetian mint specifically for the Muranese community.

As if representing their dual nature, the Ferro family coat of arms consists of an anchor, a symbol of stability and connection to the land, and an irreplaceable tool of the comet during journeys and adventures at sea. From Leonardo Ferro, a skilled master, comes the Ferro Florian line, a very important group of glassmakers from the late 19th century, prolific and numerous, still active today with glassworks bearing their name. Yalos Murano glassworks, following ongoing research and experiments that have historically distinguished it in artistic glass production, presents a new challenge: Murano glass sheets of various sizes, changing colors, numerous decorations, and unique, valuable combinations on the exterior.
