Description

To enhance the Tudo Isto É collection, the Portuguese Azulejo IV guitar was born, part of the first version of Azulejo III. It is presented in a gentle, rather relaxed manner, reminiscent of the traditional tiling tilt in Portuguese culture.

The Azulejo IV Portuguese Guitar elevates tiles, a national icon proudly honored by Malabar Artistic Furniture. This decorative element will surely be a conversation starter when entertaining guests at your home.

This version is a bold take with traditional blue color, highlighting various geometric shapes and daring patterns that make it a unique piece.

Malabar Factory was established in 2012, launching a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the elegant World Architects furniture collection. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory collections.

Malabar has showcased its mark at major international fairs such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues for exposure.

Malabar furniture production originates from the Porto area, in northern Portugal, a region with a long-standing tradition of handcrafted products.

The identity of this luxury brand is rooted in the architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.

International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that define such original companies. Emotions, handcrafted craftsmanship, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of elegant furniture.

Various techniques of working with natural wood produce incredible effects, as seen in Malabar’s exceptional collections. An important aspect of design is combining neutral and black colors.

Vivid and bold colors dominate, significantly deviating from classic and stereotypical furniture.

In addition to wood, the manufactory uses brass, gold and silver leaf, and other high-quality raw materials.

The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly visible in the daring furniture designs.

The company's name itself derives from Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of the Cape. The value of original spices prompted Portuguese merchants to chart a bold sea route.

This remains true today, as Malabar continues to set very individual design boundaries and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, daring, and extremely exclusive.

And these are exactly the kinds of products we love and introduce on the My Luxury Products platform.

What raw materials does Malabar use in its production?

The company employs the most luxurious types of wood, including: ebony, walnut, American walnut, oak, ironwood, elm, basswood, olive wood, bird’s eye, irregular grain, poplar, satinwood, and ash.

Malabar also uses ancient lacquer techniques. First, copper, gold, silver, pink, and tiger-colored leaf is applied, then lacquered.
