Each globe is handcrafted in Germany, and Columbus is the only producer that makes blown glass globes by hand. Collaboration with top cartographers, as well as artisans specializing in wood and glass decoration, speaks to the company's excellence. Besides hand-blown globes, the brand offers elegant vacuum globes, also made in Germany.
Columbus company versus other manufacturers?
The process involves a lengthy printing and curing procedure on 24 layers of paper until achieving the perfect appearance. Then, strict cleaning and application of a protective layer on the globe.
