The list was announced on July 7, 2007, in Lisbon at the Estádio da Luz stadium at 9:30 PM local time. The list includes: The Great Wall of China, Petra in Jordan, Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, Machu Picchu in Peru, the Roman Colosseum, and the Taj Mahal in Agra, India.
