Description

In autumn 1998, Christo and Jeanne-Claude transformed 162 trees around the Beyeler Foundation into a sculptural masterpiece, wrapping them with 55,000 square meters of polyester fabric. It was the artist's first long-term project in creating an ever-changing panorama of form, texture, and color. This limited edition art piece, along with a print and a sample of the project fabric, traces the story of the project from start to finish.
