History

L’ORIGINALE SINCE 1970

Lanciotto Galeotti was born in 1945 and from a young age demonstrated great creativity and incredible manual skills. After completing his studies, he began working and established contacts with many Florentine artisans who provided him with his first professional experiences. It was in these shops that his creativity was unleashed, and he focused on creating interior lighting designs, as well as unique home accessories and jewelry.

His connections with various Florentine sculptors led him to try his hand at sculpting with clay and plasticine, which over the years expanded to metals such as brass and bronze. This became a distinctive hallmark of his own artistic style.
OVER 50 YEARS - L’ORIGINALE TODAY

The brand initially focused solely on interior decoration, but over the years it has grown and today, in addition to a wide selection of chandeliers, wall sconces, and table lamps, it can offer its customers a significant range of high-end decorations. Luxurious items including tableware, household articles, and bathroom accessories.

All items are entirely handcrafted in the Sesto Fiorentino workshop, just a stone’s throw from Florence, where alchemy combines high-quality materials with the skillful craftsmanship of experienced artisans. Hand-polished Tuscan crystals, turned Carrara marble, and Murano glass are combined with bronze and brass castings. The uniqueness of the company's products results from research, passion, and experience; their products perfectly blend prestige and elegance.
EXCLUSIVE PIECES

The main feature of the company's products is the exclusive items created by Lanciotto and his team of experienced artisans, including his son Andrea. These elements are the result of continuous research into shapes and details, and are entirely handcrafted using plasticine. After completing each detail, they are cast in bronze using the ancient lost-wax casting technique. All items are entirely handmade in the Sesto Fiorentino workshop, where the entire process—from designing and producing the first prototype to actual manufacturing—is carried out.

Despite the extensive catalog (around 1000 products), the manufactory will create custom pieces in any shape and size, ensuring they do not disappoint the trust of increasingly sophisticated customers, while maintaining the quality standards throughout the entire production process.
