Three facsimile editions of Françoise Gilot's travel sketchbooks, created between 1974 and 1981, combine the distinctive atmosphere of Venice, India, and Senegal with Gilot's abstract figuration. This collection is complemented by a colorful lithograph created by Giloton specifically for TASCHEN, where he reflects on the themes explored in the sketchbook of the floating city, Venice.
