Three editions of Françoise Gilot's travel sketchbooks, created between 1974 and 1981, combine the distinctive atmosphere of Venice, India, and Senegal with Gilot's abstract figuration. Packaged in a fold-out box, the sketchbooks are accompanied by an illustrated brochure containing an in-depth introduction, an interview with the artist about her work and travels, and translations of handwritten text on the drawings.
