The Montegrappa manufacture was established in the 19th century — it developed into one of the most prosperous manufacturers in the world. Currently, at the beginning of the 21st century, it is clear that Montegrappa aims to continue following contemporary trends and adapting its product range accordingly. These include influences from ancient art, architecture, icons, contemporary culture, as well as inspiration from original jewelry. The motto of the artisans working for the brand is pride in their craftsmanship — a factor that seems to diminish in mass production.
Micra is the ultimate expression of luxury and the smallest writing instrument of the Montegrappa brand. The collection includes four models (fountain pen, ballpoint pen, rollerball, and mechanical pencil), which are a perfect combination of tradition and innovation. The pen features a distinctive octagonal body and cap made of precious red resin. The clip and rings are made of sterling silver. The clip is finished with a characteristic ball, typical of the brand, facilitating attachment. The nib is made of 18K gold, engraved, rhodium-plated, bi-tone.
