Manufaktura Visconti is an Italian company producing luxury goods, founded in 1988 in Florence by Dante Del Vecchio and Luigi Poli, who were collectors of fountain pens. While collecting luxury fountain pens, they aspired to become their manufacturers themselves.

In the 1990s, the Visconti brand developed a high-vacuum filling system (1993), a travel inkpot (1997), and a dual-chamber filling system (1998), which consisted of a dual-chamber refill system to prevent leaks.

By 2012, Visconti had exported its stylish products to over 50 countries worldwide, selling 50,000 pens annually.

The brand is known for using cellulose nitrate in the production of its accessories, adding details made of titanium, gold, diamond, ebonite, and acrylic fiber.
