Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small workshop seems entirely detached from the trends that have taken place worldwide over the years. Its core principle is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.

The founders of the brand strongly reject the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity in the knives produced. For this reason, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any changes. They are very welcome, provided that they bring elements consistent with the existing philosophy and can withstand many years of quality testing.

Unlike others, the individual stages of knife manufacturing are not handled by specialized sections of artisans, but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, while handles are made, among others, from bison, buffalo, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.

The owners encourage that their products, although intended for everyday use, be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their durability for many years. Each one is, after all, a small, unique artifact.
