It all began in the 19th century with the production of traditional Scottish musical instruments, such as bagpipes.
Founded in 1879, the company already had a solid reputation on the market and was known for producing accurate and precise musical instruments. Over time, changing consumer demands prompted a shift in the company's strategy.
The main production focus became traditional Scottish attire – belts, kilts, handbags. During that period, Dalvey mainly specialized in leather goods. It was also during this time that the idea of the Dalvey brand was born – exclusive accessories for people from the business world.
In 1990, the company moved its headquarters from Glasgow to Alness, a small mountain town. Production relies on the finest Italian leathers and high-quality stainless steel. A young and highly talented team of designers introduces new products annually and expands the Dalvey range. This outstanding brand appeared on the Polish market in 2006.
