In 1987, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Davut Kazar, a workshop was established to produce mosaic and mother-of-pearl inlay. The company initially operated as a general partnership until 1998, when it was transformed into a family business. What is wooden mosaic and mother-of-pearl inlay?

The art of wooden mosaic involves combining different types of wood; walnut, beech, lemon, olive, rosewood, mahogany, and other woods. These pieces are cut into linear segments to create geometric heads for each piece. Artistically, the brand joins these segments to form a single, thick, beautiful head. The thick piece of wood is cut horizontally into round slices. These slices are inlaid into the product, giving it a unique appearance. Additionally, inlay with mother-of-pearl, silver, and brass cords embellishes these items. Mother-of-pearl is hand-cut and fitted piece by piece, then elegantly inlaid into the objects to showcase its shine and depth.
