Description

This is a painting from the series "The Secret Garden in Giverny". The inspiration for these works comes from the gardens in Monet's garden in Giverny, France. I love this place. However, I didn't want to create a simple study of plant life, but rather to speak about it in the language of abstraction, which allows the viewer to interpret it. The garden can be full of flowers, colors, textures, objects, but it can also symbolize spiritual life.

The artwork is created using pastel techniques on pastel card. It features vivid, beautiful colors of an August afternoon. The piece is framed in a simple white frame. The artwork will be shipped in a protected and insured wooden box, along with a certificate of authenticity. Signed in the lower right corner.

Anna Kropiowska is an artist of Polish origin, who lived in Paris for 15 years. She currently resides and creates in Brittany, where she owns her own artist gallery. She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków and the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris, where she earned her diploma in Painting in 2002. Her works are part of numerous private collections in Europe, the United States, Canada, and Asia. She works in various techniques: acrylic, pastel, watercolor, drawing. For several years, she has also specialized in mural painting. Her frescoes and trompe l'oeil can be seen in Paris and its surroundings, Montereau-Fault-Yonne, Levallois, Saint-Quay-Portrieux in Brittany, as well as in Poland.

"Every good painting is abstract. Form, brush movement, color combinations, and purely abstract associations create a painterly reality that speaks to the viewer through the power and strength of color clashes. The world of colors, hues, light, and form fascinated me as a child. I try to paint and draw every day. A day without artistic work is a lost day. An artist must be very demanding of themselves and, regardless of successes or failures, strive to make the next piece better than the previous one. For me, painting is like breathing... an uninterrupted, natural, essential process that has accompanied me and will always accompany me..."
