Description

"Poppies"

The image depicts poppies, a poppy field, in penetrating and sunny light. The painting technique involves delicate patches of pastel colors that showcase the fleetingness and delicacy of these flowers. Painted near Monet's house in Giverny. Blurred outlines create colorful rhythms. Both poppies and the background vegetation are not literal studies of nature but its interpretation. Thus, the first step towards abstraction is taken. The artwork is shipped in a secure and insured wooden crate, along with a certificate of authenticity. Signed in the lower right corner.

"Every good painting is abstract. Form, brush movement, color combinations, and purely abstract associations create a painterly reality that speaks to the viewer through the power and force of color clashes. The world of colors, hues, light, and form fascinated me as a child. I try to paint and draw every day. A day without artistic work is a lost day. An artist must be very demanding of themselves and, regardless of successes or failures, strive to make the next painting better than the previous one. For me, painting is like breathing... an uninterrupted, natural, essential process that has accompanied me and will always accompany me..."
