Pirondini Italia was the first company to reinterpret the traditional cuckoo clock from the Black Forest in a modern way, offering a collection of clocks that continues to be renewed since the early 1990s.
Bowls and Unique, One-of-a-Kind Items
In the 1980s, Pirondini Italia, leveraging the decorative potential of turning solid wood obtained by layering thin sheets of colored, pre-dyed wood, created a cult series of bowls, containers, kitchen accessories, and tableware. The carefully designed formal concept features color effects that are stylish and each time unique.
YET YET YET Watch Collection
Designed by Giovanni Pirondini and curated by Nanda Vigo, the YET YET YET watch collection is an almost comprehensive overview of trends in Italian art of the mid-1990s. Watches, designed by some of Italy’s leading artists including Spoldi, Lodola, Tadini, Comencini, and Postal, are produced in limited editions using marquetry techniques with veneers of various wood species and heather varieties.
Bell Chime Clocks
The collection of bell chime clocks patented by Pirondini Italia in 2015 combines electronics and digital technologies with bronze chimes, specially tuned to mark the passage of time—hours and quarters—with short musical phrases. The result is a reinterpretation of the 2.0 version of classic sound clocks from the past.
Art Lover’s Watches – D'APRES
The D’Apres series was born in 2018 as an ongoing project involving designers and artists in creating cuckoo clocks, starting with interpretations and/or reworkings of works by great masters of all time. Designed as small paintings with thin frames, featuring various quotes and reinterpretations of well-known artworks, these clocks can be placed on a shelf or hung on a wall.
