Contrary to this situation, the philosophy of Berti Knives is based on producing exclusive knives for various purposes. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory appears to be entirely independent of the trends that have prevailed worldwide over the years. Its core principle is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.

The brand's founders strongly reject the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered products. For this reason, their company's philosophy places a special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are highly desirable, provided they introduce elements that do not conflict with the existing philosophy and can withstand years of quality testing.

Unlike others, the individual stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized sections of workers, but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, while handles are made from, among others, buffalo, bison, and deer horns, as well as 'bosso' wood.

The owners encourage that their products, despite being intended for everyday use, are treated with proper respect, which guarantees their longevity. Each one is, after all, a small, unique artifact.
