Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory seems to be completely detached from the trends that have dominated the world throughout its history. Its core value is a commitment to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.
The founders firmly reject the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of their products. For this reason, their company's philosophy places a special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to innovation. Innovations are very welcome, provided they do not conflict with the existing philosophy and can withstand years of quality testing.
Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized groups of workers but are often carried out from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The best quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, while handles are made from bison, buffalo, deer horns, as well as 'bosso' wood.
