This is an artistic design born from the imagination of Giampaolo Barbin. He brought to it the heritage of one of the most distinguished Venetian families, associated with Murano glassmaking.

The Barbin family is one of the respected medieval lineages. These glassmakers established their presence on the island of Murano as early as the second half of the 16th century.
In 1658, during the Venetian Republic, by order of the Consiglio dei Dieci council, the Barbin family was recorded in the Golden Book of Murano Society’s Notables, known as the list of the most distinguished glassmakers in Venice.
Additionally, they were granted a coat of arms – depicting two bearded sages looking at each other with a star between them on a blue background – which can still be seen at the Murano Glass Museum.
