Producing glass in Murano means continuing a thousand-year-old tradition, a history of knowledge, secrets, and skills that are a valuable legacy of the company's mission—an entrepreneurial reality born from the creative impulse of Guido, Diego, and Omar Ferro. The secrets and techniques of master glassmakers, combined with building collaborations with the most renowned Italian and international interior decorators over the years, have led to the success of many of their collections.

Brand philosophy and image

Today, Yalos Murano is a well-known brand in traditional glass production; offering furniture, style, and design for contemporary living, showcasing the versatility of glass and its many facets. Equipped with color and the most innovative lines, admiring the changing and fleeting light reflections of unique and one-of-a-kind objects, and the ability to connect personal identity with the object are the most immediate sensations of each of their creations.

Nomads yet deeply rooted in their origins, Ferro, after the devastating plague of 1630 that decimated the local population, including glassmakers, returned to Murano and soon became among the local elite as Deputies of the island, occupying this prestigious position 27 times during the 18th century.

Belonging to the local productive and vital elite, the Ferro family was part of the San Nicolò school, led by Gastaldi Major, which gathered artisans and master glassmakers and managed the glassworks. Moreover, their coat of arms is engraved twice on the Osella, a coin minted by the Venetian mint specifically for the Muranese community.

As if representing their dual nature, the Ferro family coat of arms features an anchor, symbolizing stability and a connection to the land, as well as an irreplaceable tool of the comet during voyages and adventures at sea. From Leonardo Ferro, a skilled master, comes the Ferro Florian line, a significant and prolific group of glassmakers from the late 19th century, which continues to this day with glassworks bearing their name. According to ongoing research and experiments that have historically distinguished it in artistic glass production, Yalos Murano offers a new challenge: Murano glass panels of various sizes, changing colors, numerous decorations, and unique, valuable combinations on the exterior.
