The Espressione collection features elegant writing instruments that expressively combine two precious materials: mother-of-pearl resin, with added mother-of-pearl shell, and rhodium-plated finishes used for the body and sterling silver, which forms the clip. The expression of taste and style characteristic of Italian goldsmith artists is also reflected in the sterling silver clip, engraved with a diamond in a pattern of transverse rings. The collection impresses with a modern yet harmonious composition of other details: the clip end is finished with a ball, a ring of precious resin surrounds the disk with the 1912 logo crowning the cap, and the Montegrappa logo is repeated three times on the body ring. It is equipped with an 18-karat gold nib. All products in the new Espressione collection feature a designed octagonal shape and are decorated with a characteristic Greek meander pattern ring. The pen has a double ink filling system: converter or ink cartridges, which is an additional advantage. The pen can be distinguished by the ability to screw the cap onto the body — for writing.
