Abstraction 40 x 30 cm, mixed technique on canvas – Amelia Augustyn

 “Cloud” is the title of one of Amelia Augustyn’s latest paintings. The abstraction was created using mixed media; the cotton canvas was covered with paints: acrylics, oils, and enamels. The method of applying and combining them clearly references styles such as Informel or Abstract Expressionism. The free composition combined with intense coloration will stand out in any interior. The artwork does not need to be framed – its edges are aesthetically painted. The painting is part of a broad series. It is maintained in a style very characteristic of the artist’s recent evolving work.

Amelia Augustyn – born in 1989. She works and lives in her hometown – Częstochowa, where she completed her master's studies in painting. She is a member of the Association of Polish Visual Artists. She has participated in dozens of exhibitions and continuously expands her artistic portfolio.
