Abstraction 30 x 25 cm, mixed technique on canvas – Amelia Augustyn

Amelia Augustyn (born in 1989) is a member of the Association of Polish Visual Artists of the Częstochowa District (since 2016). She graduated in Painting from the Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa (now the University of Humanities and Natural Sciences). She received her diploma in 2014 (with distinction) in the studio of Dr. habil. Włodzimierz Kulej, Prof. UJD, and Dariusz Słota (additional drawing). She has participated in dozens of exhibitions, including the Polish Contemporary Lithography Review organized by BWA Kielce. Her works are eagerly purchased both domestically and internationally (e.g., in the United Kingdom and the United States). “Night Landscape” is a painting from 2019, created with mixed media on cotton canvas. The abstraction is part of a broad cycle characterized by free gesture and intense coloration. The work is signed in the lower right corner: A. Augustyn. Its sides are aesthetically painted; it does not require framing. This small composition can be a great addition to a modern, minimalist space.
