Immense creativity in ceramic design and an elegant approach to hand-finishing every single piece are the hallmarks of the Italian brand Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro. Each item marked with the “B.C.” label is meticulously produced following all the necessary steps to achieve an ideal product, shaped and finished to high standards. Each element is modeled according to instructions personally dictated by Bruno Costenaro, reflecting his taste and that of his clients, as well as current market trends. After the first model is produced, molds are made for the final products. This begins a time-consuming process of creating this attractive ceramicware.

Everything started when Bruno Costenaro, born in Bassano in 1940, began to learn the secrets of ceramics. He was only thirteen years old and worked in companies in Marostica and Cassola. At the age of twenty, he decided to create exclusive ceramics from Italy, first with two partners in Vallonara, and later independently in Pianezze.

Over the years, the demand for his products grew, and the brand moved to Molvena. Initially, a small production took place in the basement of his new residence, which after many setbacks, he expanded into a workshop adjacent to his home, where he still works today. This demonstrates that family-run manufactories are thriving and creating true luxury. The strength of the workshop was extraordinary, thanks to their level of creativity, innovation, interest in export, and the company's ability to overcome crises in this business sector, providing employment over the years to about seventy collaborators, including his children, who continue the business.

On March 26, 2000, Bruno Costenaro received the honorary title of master craftsman of the province of Vicenza; as a tribute to his exemplary conduct both personally and professionally, he distinguished himself through dedication to work and generosity in passing on techniques and values to future generations. To this day, the Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro manufactory remains one of the most prestigious ceramic factories in the area, always looking ahead, conducting research to satisfy its clients, and delivering high-quality ceramic products.

What does the process of creating this luxury ceramic look like?

Every piece of ceramic from the mold is then hand-finished. It is glazed using the “a bagno” (dipping) method, according to the colors chosen by the customer (for example: white, black, ruby red, cobalt blue, emerald green), and then fired at a temperature of 1020°C.

At this temperature, the glaze makes each item resistant and transparent. Finally, each piece is entirely hand-finished by skilled Italian decorators, achieving refined details in gold and platinum. Fired at 600-700°C, the final product is delicate in craftsmanship and carefully finished in every detail. After polishing, each item is marked, and a quality certificate from the factory is placed in a small package. The items are packed in cardboard boxes using a modern packing machine that creates soft cushions to wrap the delicate articles.

Thanks to this modern packaging method, there are never issues with damaged goods or broken items. However, all cardboard boxes are placed on Euro pallets (80 cm width x 120 cm depth), ensuring safer transport and no missing items. Upon receipt, the customer can attest to the quality of the product, having purchased an item from Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro.

Today, the brand has expanded to include: gifts, complete series consisting of centerpieces, baskets, vases, picture frames, ashtrays, plates, lamps, columns, cachepots, mirrors, panels, candlesticks, clocks, tables, and swans.
