Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family-owned manufactory appears to be completely independent of the trends that have dominated the global market over the years. Its core value is fidelity to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.
The founders firmly reject the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of their knives. For this reason, their company's philosophy places great emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this Italian family is not closed to change. Any changes are welcome, provided they do not conflict with the existing vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized groups of artisans; instead, they are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The best quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, and handles are crafted from materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, or 'bosso' wood.
