Their leather is hand-selected, firm, and durable full-grain cowhide, which is beautiful, long-lasting, and tanned using traditional and natural vegetable tanning processes. RECYCLING MATERIALS

In line with their sustainability declaration, the brand has started replacing all its fabrics with 100% recycled materials, sourced from used plastic bottles. To date, they have recycled and removed over 95,000 plastic bottles from landfills and oceans.

SPEKBOOM PROJECT

The company partnered with a dynamic local nursery to help offset its carbon footprint through the cultivation and maintenance of Spekboom. This proud South African plant is one of the most effective in the world at removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. For this project, Jekyll & Hide secured its own hectare of land and plans to grow around 6,000 plants in 2020.
