How was Porta Romana founded?
The brand's origins date back to 1988 and a small London workshop. The ambitions of the people creating these pieces led to the company's growth. The real breakthrough came with new British artisans who inspired the early creators. Over time, ideas multiplied, and Porta Romana became a global brand.
How are Porta Romana product designs created?
The design studio is led by Shazeen Emambux. Artists discuss their concepts with craftsmen to develop designer products. Each year, a new collection theme is introduced, each with its own unique character and style. The process of creating these products is very lengthy, starting from 3D graphics and evolving into prototypes. All steps are repeated multiple times to ensure the creations meet the highest standards.
