Elegant watch accessories combined with the highest craftsmanship give us the synonymous quality of Scatola del Tempo. This is a true nod to handcrafted products that impress with their unique elegance and luxury.
In 1989, the founder of Scatola del Tempo decided to evolve the case he originally created for storing his watches, producing a small series of watch winders for himself and his friends. His goal: to simulate natural movements to care for the watches and keep them set at the correct time. As a passionate collector of Patek Philippe watches, in 1990 he presented his invention to the renowned watchmaking house, which, after years of testing, ordered 500 watch winders. Thanks to this collaboration, Scatola del Tempo quickly became known among collectors worldwide.
In the production cycle, everything begins with designing the internal shapes and sizes to fit almost all available watch styles, for safe storage and transport. Each form is first covered with shock-absorbing material, then finished with genuine calf leather. This delicate operation is performed manually with years of experience. Other details, such as clasps and zippers, are also crafted in stylish designs and finished with a palladium coating to ensure durability and long-lasting wear.
Thanks to high-performance mechanisms, 100% made in Switzerland, the watch winders are completely autonomous for three years. They operate on just two simple 1.5 V alkaline batteries. The watch holders are secured by a locking system. The watch will automatically position itself upright when the winder is stopped.
All Scatola del Tempo products are handcrafted by skilled artisans using the finest quality leather and innovative technical solutions that add elegance and luxury.
