Prof Office was founded in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, rooted in a family industrial background that designs elegant office furniture systems, deeply embedded in the northeastern Italian furniture district. Over the past twenty years, the company's economic development and growth path have allowed it to look at the international market, contributing to the dissemination of Italian design and the highest quality worldwide. By consulting architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product range.
Starting from stylish execution collections, it then developed operational systems, reception solutions, conference rooms, and partition walls. Today, this enables offering holistic and tailored furnishing solutions for every workplace.

HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of Prof, along with the plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the Treviso province, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of Europe's most important industrial furniture districts. It covers a total area of approximately 8,700 sqm, of which 3,600 sqm are covered. The facility, specializing in manufacturing office furniture, is equipped for woodworking, assembly, packaging, warehousing, and logistics of finished products. The main headquarters houses executive, commercial, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for client meetings, and a showroom of over 400 sqm displaying all collections of prestigious office furniture. In 2017, an expansion of over 1,800 sqm was completed, with 640 sqm dedicated to production, 330 sqm to new offices, and 830 sqm to a new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The company manufactures exclusively at the Falzè di Piave plant in Treviso province and always bases its identity on the utmost respect for people, the land, and materials. Strong local roots and innate "know-how," which has evolved also thanks to new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and solidify its success by continuously blending tradition and innovation, adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof's production organization is "just in time," enabling reliability, inventory reduction, and increased quality and customer service. The entire Prof network operates mainly within Italy, in the regional production zone where most raw material and semi-finished supplier companies are located. All products are fully designed and made in Italy to ensure a standard of consistent excellence.

DESIGN

At Prof's factory, every piece of furniture results from an understanding of the changing dynamics of workplaces. Research has always been a strategic element of the company's development policy, expressed through an internal Design Department working closely with external designers and continuously updated with technological and legislative evolution. Prof models are entirely designed and manufactured in Italy, fully compliant with European safety and hygiene standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

DESIGN CONSULTING
Prof provides comprehensive design and consulting services, including analysis of client requirements, layout studies with targeted and personalized furnishing proposals, along with technical drawings and rendering.

CUSTOMIZATION

The professor can propose and perform a personalized service on standard production models: from the manufacturing of oversized components, through the search for new materials and finishes, to sample and prototype creation. Thanks to their versatile production capabilities, over the years the Professor has developed specialized knowledge in the field of custom consumables, from small and medium projects to excellent personalized creations.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-compliant products and claims, the Professor maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical support and after-sales services along with full information, modifications, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

The Professor’s high production flexibility allows, in addition to series manufacturing, the realization of custom-defined projects tailored to specific client needs. The Design Department can support clients or designers in the development and production of unique products, both functional and aesthetic, with completely individual finishes.
Careful advice at every stage: a targeted design, with meticulous material selection and attention to detail, culminating in the construction, step by step, until the final installation.
The production is fully adapted to individual needs.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to increasing international market competitiveness through improved customer satisfaction and loyalty, and rationalization of internal production processes, the Professor obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Adopting a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, enabling increasingly concrete business goals. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to environmental issues, Prof focuses on maximum experience in designing and manufacturing office furniture with respect for the environment. Starting from carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 panels in accordance with European regulations on formaldehyde emissions, both for raw materials and laminates.
Each panel is then marked by the Eco Panel Consortium, ensuring that semi-finished products are produced through the reuse of wood in the manufacturing process, which does not involve tree felling.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Prof’s concrete commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, regulating the impact of production activities on the environment, and striving for continuous improvement. In 2015, during the same period as the company's twenty-year anniversary, Prof introduced a new green logo to confirm and identify its commitment to sustainable environmental development as an integral part of its activities and growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its “eco-friendly” strategy, confirming its values of “sustainability” and “responsibility,” and switched to a new electricity provider (Dolomiti Energia) sourcing 100% from renewable sources.

ECO PACKAGING

Prof continues its commitment to a production system capable of minimizing environmental impact. In 2016, Prof invested in a modern packaging machinery park using biodegradable cardboard, enabling tailored training in packaging. Optimization for specific products allows for significant reductions in packaging costs, storage, and consequently waste disposal. To improve waste management, several separate collection points for post-production waste were established. All waste is stored in special containers and subsequently recycled.

CERTIFICATIONS

Demonstrating a commitment to quality, Prof obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 certification and adheres to international standards in design, development, production, and customer service.
