Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this family-run manufactory seems completely detached from the trends that have prevailed worldwide over the years. Its key guiding principle is fidelity to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these excellent craftsmen.
The founders of the brand firmly oppose the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would cause the identity of the offered products to disappear. Therefore, the philosophy of their workshop places special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any innovations. They are most welcome, provided they introduce elements that do not conflict with the existing idea and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike others, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized sections of craftsmen, but are often carried out from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials - the blades are made of steel, while the handles are made from materials such as buffalo, bison, or deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.
