Thanks to a basic design inspired by simple lines, Entry is an exclusive collection of desks and conference tables that meets the needs of flexible workspace environments, interpreting various arrangements through a wide range of colors and finishes. The desk features a wooden structure and a top available in melamine, soft to the touch, exceptionally matte, scratch-resistant lacquer, Fenix NTM®, and veneer. Easy configuration is provided, including options with a writing surface.

Prof Office was founded in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, a family-run industrial reality that produces prestigious office furniture systems, deeply rooted in the northeastern Italian furniture district. Over these twenty years, Prof’s economic development and growth path has allowed it to look at the international market, contributing to the dissemination of Italian design and high quality worldwide. By consulting with architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product range.
Starting with designer executive collections, then developing operational systems, reception solutions, and conference rooms, up to partition walls. Today, this allows offering complete and customized furnishing solutions for every workspace.

HEADQUARTERS

Prof’s headquarters, along with its plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the Treviso province, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of Europe’s most important industrial furniture districts. It covers a total area of approximately 8,700 sqm, of which 3,600 sqm are covered. The facility, specialized in manufacturing office furniture, is equipped for woodwork, assembly, packaging, warehousing, and shipping of finished products. The main headquarters houses executive, sales, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for client meetings, and an exhibition showroom of over 400 sqm, showcasing all collections of luxury office furniture. In 2017, an expansion of over 1,800 sqm was completed, with 640 sqm dedicated to production, 330 sqm for new offices, and 830 sqm for a new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The brand manufactures exclusively at the Falzè di Piave facility in Treviso province and always bases its identity on maximum respect for people, the land, and materials. Strong local roots and innate “know-how,” which has evolved also thanks to new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and solidify its success, continuing to combine tradition and innovation while adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof’s production organization is “just in time,” enabling reliability, inventory reduction, and increased quality and customer service. The entire Prof network operates mainly within Italy’s manufacturing district, where the majority of raw material and semi-finished component suppliers are located. All products are designed and made entirely in Italy to ensure a standard of consistent excellence.

DESIGN

At Prof, every element of furniture results from an understanding of the changing dynamics of workplaces. Research has always been a strategic part of the company’s development policy and is expressed through an internal Design Department working closely with external designers, continuously updated with technological and legislative developments. Prof models are fully designed and manufactured in Italy, in full compliance with European safety and health standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

DESIGN CONSULTING
Prof provides comprehensive design and consulting services, including analysis of client requirements, layout studies with targeted and personalized furnishing proposals, technical drawings, and rendering.

CUSTOMIZATION

The professor can propose and perform personalized services on standard production models: from the manufacturing of oversized components, through the search for new materials and finishes, to sample and prototype creation. Thanks to its versatile manufacturing capabilities, over the years the Professor has developed specialized knowledge in the field of custom consumables, from small and medium projects to excellent personalized creations.

POST-WARRANTY SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-conforming products and claims, the Professor maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical and after-sales support services along with full information, modifications, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

The broad production flexibility of Prof allows, in addition to serial production, the realization of custom-defined projects tailored to specific client needs. The Design Department can support clients or designers in the development and production of unique products, both functional and aesthetic, with completely individual finishes.
Careful advice at every stage of implementation: targeted design, with meticulous material selection and attention to detail, culminating in the structure, step by step, until final installation.
The production is fully adapted to individual needs.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to increasing competitiveness in international markets by improving customer satisfaction and loyalty, and streamlining internal production processes, the Professor obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Adopting a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, enabling more concrete business goals. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to environmental issues, Prof focuses on maximum experience in designing and manufacturing office furniture with respect for the environment. Starting from carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 panels in accordance with European regulations on formaldehyde emissions for both raw materials and laminates.
Each panel is then marked by the Eco Panel Consortium, ensuring that semi-finished products are produced through the reuse of wood in the manufacturing process, which does not involve tree felling.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Prof’s concrete commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, regulating the impact of production activities on the environment, with ongoing improvements. In 2015, during the same period as the company's twenty-year anniversary, Prof introduced a new green logo to confirm and identify its commitment to sustainable environmental development as an integral part of its operations and growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its “eco-friendly” strategy, emphasizing its values of “sustainability” and “responsibility,” and switched to a new energy provider (Dolomiti Energia) that sources 100% from renewable sources.

ECO PACKAGING

Prof continues its commitment to a production system capable of minimizing environmental impact. In 2016, Prof invested in a modern packaging machinery park using biodegradable cardboard, allowing for customized training in packaging. Optimization tailored to specific products significantly reduces packaging costs, storage, and waste for disposal. To improve waste management, several separate collection points for post-production waste were established. All waste is stored in special containers and subsequently recycled.

CERTIFICATIONS

Confirming its dedication to quality, Prof obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 certification and adheres to international standards in design, development, production, and customer service.
