Thanks to a basic design inspired by simple lines, Entry is an exclusive collection of desks and conference tables that meets the needs of flexible workspaces, interpreting various arrangements through a wide range of colors and finishes. The desk features a wooden structure and a top available in melamine, soft to the touch, exceptionally matte, scratch-resistant lacquer, Fenix NTM®, and veneer. Easy configuration is provided, including options with a writing surface.

Prof Office was founded in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, a family business rooted in the industrial reality of northeastern Italy, producing prestigious office furniture systems deeply embedded in the Italian furniture district. Over these twenty years, Prof’s economic growth and development path has allowed it to look at the international market, contributing to the worldwide dissemination of Italian design and high quality. By consulting architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product range.
Starting with designer executive collections, then developing operational systems, reception solutions, and conference rooms, up to partition walls. Today, this enables offering complete and customized furnishing solutions for every workspace.

HEADQUARTERS

The Prof headquarters, along with its plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the Treviso province, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of Europe's most important furniture industrial districts. It covers a total area of approximately 8,700 sqm, of which 3,600 sqm are covered. The facility, specializing in office furniture production, is equipped for work in the wood department, assembly, packing, warehousing, and shipping of finished products. The main headquarters houses executive, sales, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for client meetings, and an exhibition showroom of over 400 sqm, showcasing all collections of luxury office furniture. In 2017, an expansion of over 1,800 sqm was completed, with 640 sqm dedicated to production, 330 sqm to new offices, and 830 sqm to a new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The brand manufactures exclusively at the Falzè di Piave plant in Treviso province and always bases its identity on maximum respect for people, the land, and materials. Strong local roots and innate "know-how," which has evolved also thanks to new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and solidify its success, continuing to combine tradition and innovation while adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof’s production organization is focused on “just in time,” enabling reliability, inventory reduction, and increased quality and customer service. The entire Prof network operates mainly within Italy’s manufacturing district, where most raw material and semi-finished component suppliers are located. All products are fully designed and made in Italy to ensure a standard of consistent excellence.

DESIGN

At Prof, every element of the furnishings results from an understanding of the changing dynamics of workplaces. Research has always been a strategic part of the company's development policy, expressed through an internal Design Department working closely with external designers and continuously updated with technological and legislative developments. Prof models are entirely designed and manufactured in Italy, fully compliant with European safety and health standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

DESIGN CONSULTING
Prof provides comprehensive design and consulting services, including analysis of client requirements, layout studies with targeted and personalized furnishing proposals, technical drawings, and rendering.

CUSTOMIZATION

The professor can propose and perform personalized services on standard production models: from the manufacturing of oversized components, through the search for new materials and finishes, to sample and prototype creation. Thanks to their versatile production capabilities, the Professor has developed specialized knowledge in the field of custom consumables, handling projects from small and medium-sized to highly personalized creations.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-compliant products and claims, the Professor maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical support and after-sales services, including full information, modifications, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

The broad production flexibility of Prof allows, in addition to series production, the realization of custom-designed projects tailored to specific client needs. The Design Department can support clients or designers in developing and producing unique products, both functional and aesthetic, with fully personalized finishes.
Careful advice at every stage: a targeted design, with meticulous material selection and attention to detail, culminating in the structure, step by step, until final installation.
Production is entirely customized to individual needs.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to increasing international market competitiveness through improved customer satisfaction and loyalty, and rationalization of internal production processes, the Professor obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Adopting a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, enabling more concrete business goals. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to environmental issues, Prof emphasizes maximum experience in designing and manufacturing office furniture with respect for the environment. Starting from carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 panels in accordance with European regulations on formaldehyde emissions, both for raw materials and laminates.
Each panel is then marked by the Ecological Panel Consortium, ensuring that semi-finished products are produced through the reuse of wood in the manufacturing process, which does not involve tree felling.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Prof’s commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, regulating the impact of production activities on the environment, and striving for continuous improvement. In 2015, during the same period as the company's twentieth anniversary, Prof introduced a new green logo to confirm and identify its commitment to sustainable environmental development as an integral part of its operations and growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its “eco-friendly” strategy, emphasizing its values of “sustainability” and “responsibility,” and switched to a new energy provider (Dolomiti Energia) that sources 100% from renewable sources.

ECO PACKAGING

Prof continues its commitment to a production system capable of minimizing environmental impact. In 2016, Prof invested in a modern packaging machinery park using biodegradable cardboard, enabling tailored training in packaging processes. Optimization tailored to specific products allows for significant reductions in packaging costs, storage, and waste disposal. To improve waste management, several separate collection points for post-production waste were established, with all waste stored in special containers and subsequently recycled.

CERTIFICATIONS

Demonstrating a commitment to quality, Prof obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 certification and adheres to international standards in design, development, production, and customer service.
