Prof Office was born in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, a family industrial reality that produces prestigious office furniture systems, deeply rooted in the Italian north-eastern furniture district. Over these twenty years, Professor's economic path of development and growth has allowed a look at the international market, contributing to the spread of Italian design and high quality worldwide. By consulting architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product offering.
Starting with executive designer collections, it then developed operational systems, reception solutions, and conference rooms, up to the partition wall. Today, this allows for offering complete and customized furnishing solutions for every workplace.

HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of Prof, along with the plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the province of Treviso, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of the most important industrial furniture districts in Europe. It occupies a total area of about 8700 sqm, of which 3600 are covered. The plant, specializing in the production of office furniture, is equipped to work in the wood department, assembly, packaging, warehouse, and shipping of finished products. The headquarters houses executive, commercial, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for receiving clients, and a showroom of over 400 sqm, which displays all collections of luxury office furniture. In 2017, an expansion was carried out of over 1800 sqm, of which 640 sqm were allocated for production, 330 for new offices, and 830 for a new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The manufacture exclusively takes place at the Falzè di Piave plant in the province of Treviso and always bases its identity on the highest values of respect for people, land, and materials. Very strong local roots and an innate "know-how" ability, which has evolved, also thanks to new technologies, have allowed Professor to confirm and also consolidate its success, continuing to combine tradition and innovation, adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof's production organization is oriented towards "just in time," which allows combining elements such as reliability, inventory reduction, and growth in quality and customer service. The entire Prof network develops in Italy, mainly in the affiliated production district, where the vast majority of raw material and semi-finished product suppliers are located. Products are entirely designed and made in Italy to ensure a standard of constant excellence.

PROJECT

At Prof, every piece of equipment results from the ability to understand the changing dynamics of workplaces. Research has always been a strategic element of the company's development policy and is expressed through the internal Design Department working closely with external designers and is constantly updated with technological and legislative evolution. Prof models are entirely designed and produced in Italy, in full compliance with European safety and hygiene standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

DESIGN CONSULTATION
Prof provides comprehensive design and consulting services, including client request analysis, layout studies with targeted and personalized furnishing proposals, along with technical drawings and rendering.

CUSTOMIZATION

Prof can propose and execute personalized services on standard production models: from the production of oversized elements, the search for new materials and finishes, to the creation of samples and prototypes. Thanks to its production versatility, over the years Prof has developed specialized knowledge in non-standard consumables, from small and medium projects to excellent personalized creations.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

With the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-compliant products and complaints, Prof maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical support and after-sales services along with full information, modifications, and repairs.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to the growing competitiveness of international markets through improved customer satisfaction and loyalty, and the rationalization of internal production processes, Prof obtained the ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Adopting a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, providing the opportunity for increasingly concrete business objectives. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to environmental issues, Prof focuses on maximum expertise in designing and producing office furniture with respect for the environment. From carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 boards in accordance with European formaldehyde emission regulations for both raw materials and melamine.
Each panel is then marked by the Ecological Panel Consortium, ensuring that semi-finished products are created from the reuse of wood in a production process that does not involve tree felling.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Prof's concrete commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, regulating the impact of production activities on the environment, striving to systematically improve it. In 2015, during the company's twentieth anniversary, Prof introduces a new green mark to confirm and identify its commitment to environmental sustainability as an integral part of its business and production growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirms its "green" strategy, confirming its values of "sustainability" and "responsibility," by choosing a new electricity operator (Dolomiti Energia) sourced 100% from renewable sources.

ECO-PACKAGING

Prof continues its commitment to a production system capable of minimizing environmental impact. In 2016, Prof invests in a modern packaging machinery park using biodegradable cardboard, allowing for individual packaging training. Optimization for specific products allows for significant reductions in packaging costs, storage, and consequently waste for disposal. To improve waste management, several separate collection points for post-production waste have been established within the company. All are stored in special containers, which are then subjected to recycling processes.
