We live in times marked by increased consumption. Therefore, the items we use daily have no value for us other than functional. Over the years, we often do not show the proper sentiment towards them, replacing them with new models.

Contrary to this situation, the philosophy of Berti Knives, a company producing exceptional knives for various purposes, stands. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the small manufactory appears to be completely autonomous from the trends that have dominated the world throughout its history. Its main guiding principle is a commitment to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of these Italian artisans.

The founders strongly oppose the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered products. For this reason, their company's philosophy emphasizes the importance of the employed personnel. However, this Italian family is not closed to innovations. They are highly desirable, provided they introduce elements consistent with the existing idea and are capable of passing long-term quality tests.

Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized artisan sections but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, while handles are made, among others, from buffalo, bison, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.

The owners encourage that their products, although intended for everyday use, be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their durability for many years. Each one is, after all, a small, unique work of art.
