MARIONI is a family story

The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has taken on its current corporate character. Starting from ceramic materials, the interior accessories lines were gradually developed, with particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creativity in details and manual craftsmanship.

After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets.
It was during this time that the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramics and textiles, and heralding success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products referencing the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that led the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communication and quality, to witness the ongoing generational evolution. In this way, the brand brings fifty years of experience into the present, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
