Description

Imperium Rzymskie today is regarded as the cradle of European civilization. Marlen created this extraordinary collection, Imperium Romanum, inspired by the power of this remarkable social, cultural, and economic organization. Wherever the reach of the Roman Empire extended, roads, bridges, and ultimately cities appeared, as a result of civilizational export.

It is believed that the beginning of the empire was in 27 BC, when Gaius Octavius received the title of Augustus (exalted by the gods) from the Senate. In 395 AD, the empire split into the Western and Eastern parts. Due to internal problems and the migration of peoples, the Western Roman Empire fell in 476 AD. The wealthier Eastern Roman Empire, with its capital in Constantinople, survived until 1453.

This beautiful ballpoint pen was crafted by combining the beauty of Italian resin with silver, bronze, and extraordinary design, created in homage to history.

Philosophy of a luxury brand

The success of Marlen is the result of determination in continuously and uncompromisingly producing high-quality pens. This company, renowned not only for its excellent quality but also for fruitful collaboration with talented artists, never runs out of ideas. That’s why Marlen constantly creates new, proprietary collections for those who highly value unique office accessories.

Unique craftsmanship, modern design, and high quality—these three phrases perfectly reflect the prestige of the Italian company Marlen, which produces luxury writing accessories that are highly appreciated by many enthusiasts of contemporary styles worldwide. The company was founded in 1982 by Mario Esposito and Antonio Esposito. For over twenty years, they have focused on innovation, which under the Marlen brand has become a variation inspired by cultural, historical, and artistic influences, combined with technical excellence.

The founders’ collaborators are talented goldsmith-artists. Their talent is evident in the handcrafted decorations (all Marlen pens are decorated and painted by hand!).

Customization to meet the needs of the most demanding clients

  • Fountain and ballpoint pens straight from Italy—the European capital of design—are known for their high quality. Artisans associated with Marlen pay great attention to using only solid materials in their projects.
  • Pens are made from Italian resin, brass, steel, bronze, aluminum, decorated with silver and gold.
  • All writing products are covered by a three-year warranty.
  • Personalization of pens upon request—dates, initials, signatures, company logos, dedications, or mottos can be engraved on specific parts of the pen.

Cleaning Marlen pens

  • It is recommended to clean the ink reservoir with cold or lukewarm water—water effectively removes ink from all crevices and engravings. Do not use thinners or alcohol to clean the entire pen.
