We proudly present to you an original biscuit porcelain figurine from the early 20th century!
Central porcelain biscuit element - early 20th century. This triumph of biscuit porcelain dates back to the first decades of the 20th century. Biscuit porcelain is a special manufacturing technique that gives the surface an opaque and satin finish. This central piece depicts Mercury delivering his son Bacchus to the Nymphs in the presence of a goat, a mythological scene typical of the style of that period.

Mercury, the messenger of the gods, was responsible for delivering his son Bacchus to the Nymphs, deities of the forests and waters. Bacchus was a young god of wine and ecstasy, and the Nymphs cared for him and taught him the secrets of nature and creativity.

The moment of birth was a solemn and joyful occasion: Mercury handed over the newly born Bacchus into the loving arms of the Nymphs, who greeted the baby with smiles and caresses. The Nymphs cared for him as their own child, teaching him the secrets of nature and magic.

Bacchus will grow up under the care of the Nymphs, learning from them the wisdom and beauty of nature. And thanks to this precious gift from Mercury, the young god of wine and ecstasy will become one of the most beloved and revered deities of Olympus.

This is a delicate and refined item, perfect for decorating a table and creating an elegant atmosphere.

The large group is in perfect condition, except for the missing small flower petal on the base. It comes from an Italian manufactory and dates to the first half of the 20th century.
