The beginning of the business activity W&W date back to the year 2001 in New York. At that time Michael Mandapati decided to establish this exceptional place. For creating stylish carpets this company uses materials such as Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettle, hemp and linen.
All the products were created in Nepal, where highly trained weavers are making them by hand. Then the carpets are transported to Switzerland, where they are finished, attaining their final design.
Thanks to the increased content of lanolin these carpets are softer, more resistant to staining and have a beautiful gloss. The high diversity of carpet designs of Wrap & Weft ensures that even people with the most demanding tastes will find the perfect match.
